Helen F Bukantis (Wing) of Buzzards Bay died June 8 2017 at home. Mrs Bukantis was a devoted mother, homemaker and enjoyed knitting, reading and pinochle. Helen was born to Theodore H, and Evelyn M (Thomas) Wing in Buzzards Bay on September 3 1928. She graduated from Bourne High School in 1946 where she was active in sports, and married George R. Bukantis on October 16 1948. Helen is survived by her husband of of 68 years, George; son Robert Bukantis of Helena MT, and daughters Susan Belhumeur and Nancy Bukantis of Buzzards Bay. She was preceded in death by son George Michael Bukantis of Pleasant Valley NY, as well as 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
