Howard Earl Bearse of Forestdale, MA passed away on June 5, 2023, peacefully, at home surrounded by family

.

Howard was born in Marstons Mills, MA to Edward Leon Bearse and Mae Ellsworth (Cowan) Nelson on December 9, 1945.

He worked as a mechanic until he retired where he could be found on the golf course, near a pool table or riding his motorcycle. He was a lifetime member of the Elks, a member of the Cape Cod Pool League and the Moose Club to name a few.

Howard is preceded in death by his mother May Ellsworth (Cowan) Nelson, his father Edward Leon, brothers Duke, Donald, George, his sister Rose West and his daughter Monica Alty.

Howard is survived by his daughters Jaime and Brian O'Neill of Forestdale, MA and Janine and Ralph Martignetti of Boston, MA. Brothers William (Billy) of Hyannis, MA Frederick (Freddie) Geggatt of Las Vegas, NV and sister Gloria Mederios of Hickory Grove, SC and his grandchildren Taylor, Sylver and Damon Alty of Centerville, MA. Trinity Martignetti of Boston, MA and Sheamus and Keegan O'Neill of Forestdale, MA.

The family of Howard wishes to extend a sincere thanks to the team of doctors and nurses that cared for him at Falmouth Hospital, Brigham and Womens Hospital and the Hospice Services of MA.

There will be a private, graveside burial.
