Obituary

Jacqueline Lopez passed away July 11, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Jackie was born October 29, 1969 in Dorchester and she grew up in the Boston, MA area. She was married in 1990 to her soulmate Bill, and moved to Carver in 2002 where they resided for 20+ years raising a family.

Jackie is survived by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Lopez Sr. of 34 years. Loving mother to Alanna Ethier, Samantha Lopez, and William Lopez Jr, and loving grandmother to Alexander, Cayden, Thomas, and Cameron. Cherished sibling of sisters Elizabeth Applegate, Ann Marie Chisholm, Edie Wallace, and brothers Arthur King Jr., Gordon King, and Matthew King. Also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jackie's life was a testament to selfless love and unwavering dedication. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren with boundless love. One of her most admirable accomplishments was bringing vision impairment awareness to the Carver Public Library for Braille books in honor of her grandchild.

Her presence brought joy, excitement, and a positive spirit to everyone she met. She radiated energy always singing, dancing and laughing. She loved playing cards, backgammon and cribbage with her sisters, and she cherished every annual family get together amongst the King and Lopez family.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate Jackie's extraordinary life. She would want us to remember her with smiles and to carry on her legacy by spreading love and positivity. Her memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we echo, and the memories we continue to make.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31st from 4-6:30 pm at the funeral home.
