WWII veteran, Mr. Barrett worked for the Hood Rubber company was the founder of Monique Originals and the CO owner of Static Technologies; He worked up until he was 90 years old. He also was the owner operator of Morning Glory Cottages on Cape Cod.

Son of the late James Patrick SR. and Elizabeth (Murphy) Barrett Beloved husband for 64 years of the late Dorothy Margaret (Tisdale) Barrett. Survived by his loving sister Joanne Hallsworth and his children James Barrett III, Kenneth Barrett, Lynne Lumenello, Karen Anthony and Wayne Barrett. Grandfather of Jeanette Blouin, Alison, Daniel, Lauren, James IV, Mitchell and Troy Barrett. Great Grandfather of Katherine Elizabeth and Joseph Barrett Hughes.
