James Paul Blakeman

Jim passed away suddenly on January 5, 2023, surrounded with much love by family. He is survived by his wife Lisa of 29 years and their five daughters, Rebecca, Jessica, Julia, Emma, and Isabella. Their first grandchild John Michael. He is also survived by his brother Gerald M Blakeman III of Whitman, his sister Cheryl Todd of WV, and brothers William and Bradford both of Plymouth, and many nieces and nephews

He is predeceased by his parents Gerald M. Blakeman Jr and Phyllis May (Wright).

Jim is an Army Veteran who was passionate about placing the flags for Veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. He worked for UPS for the last 33 years. He enjoyed watching his girls sports activities He also enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, football, and cookouts with family and friends.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12th from 5-7 pm. Interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery on Friday, January 13th at 9:45 am.
