Covel, James, of Plymouth, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014. He was the son of Esther (Dupont) and the late Francis Covel. Jim was an avid motorcycle rider. He loved fishing with his kids and his grandson, Shane. James is survived by his wife, Denise. He also leaves behind three children, James R. Covel of Plymouth, Sherri Covel of Plymouth, and Kendra Covel of West Warwick, RI. He was the grandfather of 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Dale Covel of Carver and Randy Covel of Attleboro as well as his sisters, Francis Osgood of Carver and Joy Covel of Florida. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 11, from 4 – 7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Church on Friday, September 12 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery.
