James C. Stasinos "Jim", a lifelong resident of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at his home on
July 17, 2026, at the age of 71, surrounded by his loving family.

The beloved husband of Patricia (Connolly) Stasinos, Jim is also survived by his sister, Carol Stasinos of Port Charlotte, Florida; and by his children: Charles "C.J." Stasinos and his wife,Kendall, of Northbridge, and their children, Riley, Tripp, and Easton; Nicholas Stasinos and his wife, Annie, of Plymouth, and their children, Jack, Chloe, Bennett, Lilly, Nicholas, and Alaina;Jonathan Stasinos and his wife, Meaghan, of Marshfield, and their daughter, Brinn; James Stasinos and his wife, Mary, of Plymouth; Caitlyn Duffy of Gorham, Maine; and Tyler Stasinos of Plymouth.

Jim was the loving son of the late Charles J. and Toula (Sackley) Stasinos. He shared an extraordinary bond with his parents throughout their lives, and they remained among the most important people in his life until their passing. He was also the nephew of the late Nicholas J.and Jean Stasinos and grew up in downtown Plymouth, surrounded by the close-knit family that meant everything to him.

Growing up in a family well known in Plymouth, Jim spent many years working alongside his father and uncle in the family business, Massasoit Vending Service. While his work took him indifferent directions over the years, what never changed was his love of the ocean. From spending time aboard his father's beloved Java to making countless memories aboard his own Java, the water was always where he felt most at home. Whether he was out boating or simply enjoying a day by the water, those were the moments when he was happiest.

For Jim, life's greatest accomplishments could never be measured by a career or recognition, but by the people he loved. He cherished his parents, loved his wife, was incredibly proud of his children, and found his greatest joy in being "Papa" to his grandchildren. Whether everyone was gathered together for a family meal or simply enjoying each other's company, those were the moments he treasured most. Anyone who knew Jim knew he was quick to shed a tear of happiness when he was proud of the people he loved, and nothing made him prouder than seeing his family grow and thrive. His family will forever remember his unmistakable smile, his quiet kindness, and his signature way of breaking the silence with, "Oh Boy," which never failed to bring a smile to those around him. His greatest legacy is the family he loved so deeply and the countless memories they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA 02360.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, 102 Samoset Street, Plymouth, MA 02360, where Jim will be laid to rest alongside his beloved parents, grandparents, uncle, and aunt.

In lieu of flowers, Jim's family kindly requests that memorial donations in his memory be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688, or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
