John Michael Cowley died November 25, 2021 at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich MA after a recent diagnosis of neuroendocrine cancer.

He is survived by his parents W.Michael and Eileen (Cahill) Cowley of Rancho Cucamonga CA, formerly of Mashpee MA, and a sister, Kathleen(Jorge) Cabrera and niece Anne also of CA. He leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.

John was born on April 17, 1965 in Rochester NY. He graduated from Gates Chili High School in1983 and the University of Dayton in1987.

His connection to Cape Cod began as a child on family camping trips to Truro and summers from college scooping ice cream at Friendly's in Orleans. He later worked as manager at Strawberries Music and Borders Books Most recently he was employed by FedEx.

John was proud to be an ardent Green Bay Packer and LA Dodger fan despite years of living in New England.

Burial will be in California.
