June R (Blair) Leahy, 87, passed away on September 15 2012. Born 4-5-1925 in Brockton Mass- recently lived in Falmouth Mass. Daughter of the late Leah Blair- Capozzi and Arthur Blair. Sister of Maria Doyle of Everett, Washington, and the late Arthur and Robert Blair. Wife of the late James F Leahy, Mother of Anna V Astuto & and her husband James of Yarmouth, the Late Donald P and James P Leahy, Mark Leahy of Brockton, Julie Faria & her husband Michael of Buzzards Bay, Matthew Leahy and his wife Gerri of Berkley, Lea Benson of Pocasset, and Marijane Fetzer & her husband Donald of Oxford England Grandmother of 16 grandchildren and Great Grandmother of 11. Cherished friend to countless others. June worked over 20 years in the gift and card business which included building store revisions for Hallmark Cards and finishing her career at the age of 75 as a Manager of Barkers Hallmark in Quincy She expressed her creativity through decorating and various craft projects which include painting, sewing and dollhouse restoration among others. June was an avid reader who loved crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Above all else, June liked to spend time with family and friends. A celebration of June's life will take place this weekend at St John the Evangelist church 841 Shore Road, Pocassett, Ma . Calling Hours will be held on Friday September 21, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the church Funeral Mass Saturday September 22, 2012 at 10:00 am also at St. John's Church.
