Obituary

Karen Morrissey, 82, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, in Duxbury, Massachusetts.

Born on June 2, 1943, in Plymouth, Karen was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth and Thomas Longhi. She attended Plymouth High School and later studied at the University of Massachusetts.

Karen worked as a physical education teacher at Hingham High School, where she taught and coached her students to stay active and confident. Later, she followed her passion for antiques and art, becoming an antique dealer and the owner of Bosc Antiques on Charles Street in Boston.

Karen had a vibrant spirit and a deep appreciation for sports and culture. She loved football, golf, and tennis, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Staci McKeown; her son, Kevin McKeown, his wife Ann; and her cherished grandson, Brady McKeown.

Celebration of Life honoring Karen will be held on May 9, 2026, at the Plymouth Country Club. The family will share additional details closer to the date. Those who would like to attend may contact Staci at 646-483-1939.

Karen will be remembered for her creativity, sharp sense of fashion, love of competition, and signature dry wit. Her zest for life and the joy she brought to those around her will be deeply missed.
