In Loving Memory of Kay Lipfin

Kay Lipfin passed away on Monday August 31st surrounded by love, leaving behind a devoted family, countless friends, and many cherished memories.

Born July 19, 1943, Kay loved to laugh, have a good time, and spend time with her family. She also loved to sing—whether or not she knew the words. For 46 years, she worked at the Milepost in Duxbury, where she became a familiar face in the South Shore. Wherever she went, someone seemed to know her.

Kay was the beloved wife of the late Richard Lipfin and loving mother of Patti Driscoll and her husband, Tim of Marshfield and Richard Lipfin of California. She adored her grandchildren, Emily Napolitano & her wife, Breanna and Vincent Napolitano and longtime partner Sophie Meuse of Marshfield, and Patti Ann and Amadea Lipfin of California.

She is also survived by her brothers, James Crowley and his wife, Jean; Timothy Crowley and his wife, Judy; and Billy Crowley and his wife, Diane; and predeceased by her sister Marion Bombach as well as her best friend of 75 years, Pat Lydon; and many nieces and nephews.

Kay brought laughter, fun, and a bit of mischief wherever she went. She will be deeply missed.

There will be a private burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery.
