August 16, 1971 – September 21, 2024
Veiga, Kelli, 53, of Plymouth, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born in Plymouth, the daughter of Maryann (Pina) and the late Dennis Veiga.
Kelli grew up in Plymouth, attending and graduating from Plymouth South in 1989. After graduating, she went to Blaine Cosmetology School and then she went on to Fisher College for Computer Science. She worked briefly with her aunt at Le Chez Patrice, then was dedicated to her full-time job as a single mom. She also worked as a saleswoman for Veiga Construction/Rafe Veiga Construction.
Kelli was an excellent poetry writer, she loved painting and drawing, listening to music and dancing, and tending to her gardens and flowers.
She was a big horror enthusiast. She loved the beach and loved to feed the seagulls. She loved her Boston sports teams and rooting them on, and most importantly, being with her family.
Kelli leaves behind her beloved son, Jordan. She is also survived by her mother, Maryann, as well as her brothers, Dennis, Jr. (and former sister-in-law Rachel), and Rafe (and Tina Viella). She is also survived by her aunt Patricia (and Ben) Perry and Irene Randolph, her cousins Clyde Perry, Sr., Lisa Randolph, and Elizabeth Alves, and her nephews Raymond, Jr., and Brendan, and great-niece, Sofia. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis, Sr. as well as her grandparents, Rose and Albert Veiga and Amelia and Theodore Pina. She was also preceded in death by her fur babies; Cutesy, Lynx, Chin-Chin, and Nelson.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 27th from 4-7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter's Church, 86 Court Street, Plymouth, MA on Saturday, September 28th at 10:30 am. Interment will immediately follow at Vine Hills Cemetery.
