Linda Marie Barbieri, 73 of Dennis, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on September 14, 2021. Beloved mother of Megan Rodriguez of Newton, Massachusetts. Born and raised in Northvale New Jersey, she moved to Cape Cod in 1972. Linda was an avid baseball fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her beloved New York Yankees. She was the first female umpire on Cape Cod for both high school girl's and men's summer league. She was also an antique collector and dealer for many years on Cape Cod, specializing in antique photographs and sports memorabilia. She also was an animal lover, especially of dogs. She was predeceased by her parents Lucy and Robert Barbieri. She is survived by her siblings Sharon Brauer of Whiting, New Jersey; Robert Barbieri and his wife Eileen of Southport, North Carolina; William Barbieri and his wife Renee of Closter, New Jersey; Tina Stamato and her husband Howard of Califon, New Jersey; Jill Clubb and her husband Brad of Manheim, Pennsylvania as well as several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her best friend and traveling companion to many concerts, Betty Morse; as well as her friend and former husband, David Rodriguez. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
