Lynda (Swanson) Shackford, of Hingham, formerly of Weymouth, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at the age of 62, after a yearlong battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband, William M. Shackford; daughter, Glowyn M. Shackford-Waterhouse; son-in-law, Campbell R. Waterhouse; grandson Atticus L. Waterhouse; and her good/ bad dog Hermie. Lynda was a true child of the 1960s, who continued to live out the core values of that era. She was an avid gardener, animal and nature lover. Lynda worked in the geriatric field as a rehab assistant but more recently, specialized in private home health care working with quadriplegics.
