Marco Pestana, age 39 of Plymouth, MA died suddenly on Thursday, May 27, 2010. He is the son of the Maria and the late Octavio Pestana. He is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle Pestana. He also leaves behind his mother, Maria (Ponte) Pestana, his sister, Rosemary Pestana and her fiancé, Daniel Perez, as well as many cousins, uncles, aunts and friends. He is also survived by his godson, Landon and his girlfriend, Tami. He was predeceased by his father, Octavio Pestana, who passed away last November. Marco was born in Portugal and moved to Plymouth with his family when he was 7 years old. Marco was a dedicated father, son and brother. He was a very talented man with many skills. He worked as a cable man for Adelphia Cable and a skilled mechanic at Monroe Muffler and Brake. He was an entrepreneur, owning his own business, Plymouth Paintball Supply Store in Plymouth for 5 years. He also ran a paintball camp for kids to play in the summer. Marco will be forever missed and remembered. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Bartlett-Garrity Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, June 1st from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will be at St. Mary's Church, Plymouth on Wednesday, June 2 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
