KINGSTON – Margaret Joan Rezendes passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. She was 91 years old.

Joan was the wife of the late Edward Rezendes, and the daughter of the late Timothy and Margaret Reardon and sister of the late Mary Louise Reardon. Born in Lowell and raised in Boston and Quincy, she was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Brighton and Framingham State College. Joan was an elementary school teacher and homemaker. She was a faithful communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plymouth and had a strong devotion to The Divine Mercy and the Blessed Mother.

Joan was predeceased by her devoted husband Edward of 62 years. Joan is survived by her four sons, Timothy Rezendes and his wife Christine of Kingston, Mark Rezendes and his wife Jacqueline of Plymouth, Thomas Rezendes and his wife Marcella of Yarmouth and David Rezendes of Orange County California. She had twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 28, from 4:00-7:00PM at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, at 10:00AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 313 Court Street, Plymouth. Immediately following Mass, the Rite of Committal (Interment) will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 21 Green Street, Kingston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to all services.
