Plymouth – Marie D. Costa of Carver, MA, died Friday, November 4 th at Beth Israel

Deaconess hospital in Plymouth, MA after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was the wife of Richard A. Costa.

She was born in Cambridge, MA on December 30, 1951, the daughter of the late John

and Laura (Mucci) Petit. Marie lived in Cambridge, MA then moved to Nashua, NH.

She worked as an office worker at the NH Department of Welfare and at Peaceful

Meadows Ice Cream in Plymouth and Whitman, MA. Marie loved reading, spending

time in her flower garden, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 45 years, Marie is survived by her brother John Petit

and his family of NH; her son Matthew Costa and his family of Carver, MA; and her

second son Jeremy Costa and his family of Carver, MA.

A Ceremony of Life service will be held on Friday, November 18 th between 4-6 PM at

the Bartlett Funeral Home located at 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA.
