Marie Topazio Robinson, 96, of Plymouth, MA, passed away at home surrounded by the love of her family on February 8, 2026, following a courageous battle with Cancer.
Marie was born on June 27, 1929, in Middletown, CT. She lived in Plymouth for 33 years and was formerly a resident of Duxbury, MA. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, and her son, Kim. She is survived by her children: Mark Robinson and his wife Winnie of Lecanto, FL; Bill Robinson and his wife Therese of Plymouth, MA; and her daughter Amy Lawson and her husband Chris of Plymouth, MA. She also leaves behind 10 cherished grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Marie was happiest when surrounded by her family. She loved traveling with John, the love of her life. Together they spent summers sailing from Nantucket to Boston, often accompanied by a fleet of fellow Plymouth Yacht Club members. Although she never enjoyed sailing on windy days, she would always brave them for her Captain. Marie and John also delighted in traveling on Princess Cruises and exploring Europe together.
A devoted and doting grandmother and great-grandmother, Marie spent countless days playing games, drawing, reading stories, and rocking her favorite little ones to sleep. Her gentle, calming presence made each child feel uniquely loved.
Marie was known for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and remarkable memory. Even throughout her illness, she remained selfless and deeply focused on the wellbeing of her family.
She was a talented painter and an active member of the Plymouth Garden Club. She was also a member of the Church of the Pilgrimage.
A memorial service will be held at the Bartlett Funeral Home in Plymouth, MA, at 10:00 AM on March 28th, followed by a private interment at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society or Cranberry Hospice.
