GIBSON, Mark Alan Passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 after battling an illness. He leaves behind daughters Madelyn and Lauren, ex-wife Judith, mother Janet Gibson, brothers Lee, Glen and Robert, sister-in-laws Cathy and Elizabeth, nieces Rachael and Sara, nephews Abraham, Brian and Benjamin. Mark was born August 23, 1953 in Springfield, MA. He grew up in Wilbraham, MA graduating from Minnechaug Regional High School lettering in basketball, golf and swimming. He won the MA state schoolboy golf tournament as a senior. He attended Springfield College and graduated from Westfield College. In 1988 he partnered with Robert Upton to create a successful commercial roofing company in Foxboro,MA that lasted over two decades and in 2004 took over Bay Pointe Country Club in Onset, MA. Mark will be best remembered for his passion for golf, his magnanimous personality, and the light his daughters brought to his life. There will be a private service.
