Obituary

Mark Allen Olewiler Sr. (51) Mark Olewiler Sr of Falmouth MA. went home to be with our Lord and Savior on July 29, 2021. Mr Olewiler sadly lost his long courageous battle with cancer one day after celebrating his 51st birthday. Mr Olewiler was born in York PA to Charles B. Olewiler Sr. and Catherine Louise Fockler Olewiler (both of whom preceded Mark in death) . He moved to Massachusetts 5 years ago and loved his new surroundings. He worked for Cape Cod Appliance Repair in Sandwich MA as an appliance repair technician where he loved meeting new clients daily. Mark was known for his sense of humor and his love of family. He often said his children were his greatest accomplishments in life. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Virginia (Ginny) Taylor Olewiler of 21 years. Two sons still residing at home, Cordell M. Olewiler and Matthew C. Olewiler. His oldest son Mark A. Olewiler Jr and spouse Nicole of Carlisle PA, his second son Shawn D Olewiler and spouse Ayuri of Okinawa Japan, his third son Brandon L. Widmayer of York PA, 7grandchildren 5 boys and 2 girls. His older brother Charles B. Olewiler Jr. and spouse Katrina of York PA. Several very close friends he considered family. Too many to name, but you know who you are! Mark has left a huge void with his family and will always be loved and missed. Someday we will all see him again! But until then hold his name high in prayer and remember all that was good in this man that was taken way too young. A memorial service is being held in York later this month. Please contact Michele Younker or Mike Bolyard for details. A Celebration of life will be held in October in Falmouth. Contact Virginia Olewiler for the details of that event. Obituary lovingly written by the family of Mark Olewiler
