Mark Sanderson, age 72 of Plymouth MA, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday October 31, 2025.  He was surrounded by love, comfort and the care of his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Barbara (Madden) Sanderson.

Mark was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and spent his twenties living in Western MA where he met Barbara. In 1991 they moved to their forever home in Plymouth. Mark was a distinguished Union Carpenter. His career gave him a great sense of purpose and fulfillment. Mark was a man who lived with strength, steady kindness, and deep devotion to those he loved. He found happiness in the simple moments of life, and his greatest pride was his family. A passionate boater and fisherman, Mark loved spending time on the water, enjoying the tranquility of nature and the thrill of a good catch.  He found immense joy in woodworking, crafting beautiful pieces for his loved ones. Mark also embraced every opportunity to hit the golf course with family and friends.

Mark was an authentic man with an unwavering moral compass. He lived his life in a way that was honest and real. One of his greatest blessings was becoming a grandfather to his granddaughter, Halle, who brought endless light into his life.

In addition to Barbara, Mark is survived by his son Christopher Sanderson, his wife Lindsey and their daughter Halle, his brothers Tom Sanderson and George Sanderson and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Mark's memory will carry on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his storytelling, and the way he could bring a smile to any room. He made people feel loved, valued, and always welcomed.

A visitation for Mark will be held on November 14th 4-5:45pm at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth MA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5:45 pm.
