Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Balboni, 91, passed away on August 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of Plymouth, Betty was born in Kingston to the late Ernest Krueger and Doris (Pinto) Powers and predeceased by her sister, Sally Morse.

A proud graduate of Plymouth High School’s Class of 1952, Betty spent most of her life at Clyde’s and Balboni’s Baking Company in North Plymouth, working alongside her sons and late husband, Clyde. If you ever walked through those bakery doors, you likely left with more than a loaf of bread - you left with a story, a laugh, or a bit of neighborhood gossip.Betty was a devoted mother, nana, great‑grandmother, aunt and wonderful friend to many, whose love filled every gathering, every celebration, and every lively conversation she started (and often finished). She had a gift for talking with anyone, anywhere, about anything and somehow always knew exactly what was going on in town.

She is survived by her daughter Claudia “Bunny” and son‑in‑law Robert “Bob” Beaulieu; her son Clyde “Peter” and daughter‑in‑law Kelly Balboni; her son Jeffrey Balboni; and her son‑in‑law Joseph Galante. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Debbie Galante.

Betty leaves behind a large and loving family of grandchildren - Jarad Hayes; Kyle and Janet Hayes; BJ and Meaghan Beaulieu; Sara and Tim Dupuis; Megan Balboni; Nicholas and Deanna Balboni; Shauna Balboni; Monique Fitzpatrick; Mikayla Balboni, Kaitlyn Balboni, as well as many great‑grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Honoring her wishes, the family will hold a private celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church in Plymouth, Lifecare of Plymouth, or the Disabled Veterans Foundation.
