Obituary

Mary Bella Cowgill passed away October 21, 2014, after a 2-year battle with cancer; Mary's husband was by her side, while at the Saint Josephs Manor, Brockton. Mary was 68 years old. Mary was born in Boston, April 13, 1946. She was the second child of Beatrice and Raymond McAdoo. Mary graduated from Rockland High School in 1964. She resided in Halifax with her beloved husband, Cotie, of 44 years. She was a very caring and special person, and like in the theme song from the old Mary Tyler Moore show, she could turn the world on with her smile. To know her was to love her. She so loved her children and grandchildren. She loved flower gardening. She always felt closer to God while in her gardens. She loved pets and they loved her. She saw people in need and took action to help. She did many kind deeds, some that are still making lives better. She loved painting and loved sharing her art with others. Mary leaves her two sons, Randall L. Cowgill, his wife Deakmon, and two grandchildren, Ada and Sid; and her son, Cotie S. Cowgill his wife Gwen, and granddaughter, Lila. Mary also leaves 3 sisters, Murial Kelly, Raylene Fernald, and Lynette Toohey. Her husband is starting a photo album of Marny and will be continuously adding to it, http://smg.photobucket.com/user/cotie/embed/slideshow/ MARNY. Funeral services will be held at Christ Church, at 149 Court Street, Plymouth, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 1.
