Mary (Calabro) Fitzsimmons of Avon, MA, passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2021 at the age of

92.   Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Fitzsimmons; loving mother of Ann Marie Hanf of Avon, Jane Curto

of Lake Mary, FL, Alan and his wife Diane of Middleboro, Stephen and his wife Dianne of Bridgewater,

Robert and his wife Maureen  of Easton and David and his wife Susan of Avon; sister of Vincent Calabro

of Millis and the late Camilla Ammidown; dear grandmother of  ten grandchildren and three

great grandchildren.  Mary was a resident of Avon for more than 50 years.  She enjoyed line-dancing,

bowling and spending time by the water in Ogunquit, Maine.  She was an avid reader, a lover of dogs

and one heck of a Scrabble player.  In her later years, Mary dedicated her time to hospice care.   She will

be dearly missed by all that knew her.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Old Colony Hospice,

321 Manley St., W. Bridgewater, MA  02379.
