Obituary

Maureen Ann (Goodwin) Hague, 76, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at Bourne Manor Extended Care on February 19, 2026. She was a musician, voice teacher, wife, mother, friend, and lifelong Red Sox fan and will be greatly missed.

She was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts to Ralph and Marie Goodwin and graduated from Boston Conservatory where she met her husband (Joseph) Philip Hague. They were married in October of 1973. She was proceeded in death by her brother, Robert. She is survived by her husband, Phil, and daughter, Jessica as well as the legions of voice students she worked with over the years.

Saying Maureen was a lifelong Red Sox fan is a bit of an understatement. As a young girl, she would attend games with her mother, cheer for the team, yell at the umpires when she thought they blew a call, and stay glued to the game from beginning to end. While in music school, she would make the short walk to Fenway Park from Boston Conservatory on a regular basis and continue watching and attending games with her husband and daughter throughout her life.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at The Church of the Pilgrimage in Plymouth. All are welcome. Her ashes will be laid to rest in the Goodwin family plot in the St. Joseph’s cemetery in Plymouth in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
