IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Anthony
Cappiello
November 27, 1968 – November 5, 2024
Michael A. "Cappy" Cappiello III, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Nov 5th at his home in Berkley with his loving wife Allison by his side. Mike was born in Stoughton, graduated from Middleboro High School, and worked as a brake operator for 37 years, most recently employed by Wrobel Engineering for the past 20 years. He was a hard and conscientious worker all his life.
Mike loved music and was a phenomenal electric guitarist. He loved and served his Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and we believe that he is now the new electric guitar player for the worship team in Heaven! For many years he enjoyed playing worship music at Christ Community Church, where he was a member, and where he met his wife, Allison. Mike loved his children, Hannah and Hunter, and his granddaughter, Hazel. Mike loved his dogs, Three-0 and Wakefield, and he loved working in his yard and being outdoors. He especially loved the happy life that he shared with Allison. Mike loved fishing, cooking, movies, sports, and spending time with family.
Mike conquered cancer in 1997 with a full bone marrow transplant.
Mike is survived by his wife Allison, his children Hannah and Hunter, stepdaughter Lexi and her fiancé Shawn, his granddaughter Hazel, his mother Patricia Cappiello, and his siblings Michelle Leonard (Ron), Andrea Leonard (Dan), and Sheila Dellarocco (Tim), and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving father, Michael A. Cappiello, Jr.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, at 10am at Christ Community Church in East Taunton with a reception immediately following. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
