Michael Francis Mahony Jr. age 62 of Scituate died March 8, 2014 following a brief illness. Michael is the beloved son of Helen (Orcutt) Mahony of Scituate and Michael F. Mahony, also of Scituate. He leaves behind his son Gregory and his wife Catlin of Pembroke and daughter Christin Mahony of Boston. He attended Scituate High School and Thayer Academy. He graduated with Honors from American Motorcycle Institute in Florida. He was an exceptional athlete and received many honors in football and track. He had a lifelong passion for fishing and motorcycles. He leaves his brother Kevin Mahony and his wife Diane of Duxbury, and his sister Pamela Crowley and her husband Edward of Scituate. Michael also leaves his nephew Patrick Mahony of Duxbury and Sean, Gary and Kyle Crowley of Scituate.
