Michael C. Miranda, age 66 of Plymouth, passed away May 6, 2018 at the Tremont Rehab Nursing Home in Wareham, MA. Michael is survived by his sons Michael Eastman and Corbin Eastman both currently residing in Wisconsin, his son Seth Miranda (wife Athena Miranda) of Wareham, his son Jeremiah Miranda (partner Suzi Sevilen) of San Tan Valley, Arizona, Rachel Shaw (husband Kevin Shaw) of Plympton, Leah Corbett (husband Matthew Corbett) of Weymouth, his 2 brothers David and Christian Miranda, 10 grandchildren, his nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Nancy Miranda of Plymouth. He is preceded in death by his parents Christian and Leonore (Lima) Miranda, his brother Thomas Miranda, all of Plymouth, and his former wife Linda (Sullivan) Eastman of Wisconsin. Michael was born on November 12, 1951 in Plymouth, MA to Christian and Leonore Miranda. He graduated from Plymouth Carver High School in 1969. He was employed at Walworth Valve Co, BIW, and most recently Stop and Shop. He loved cooking, riding his motorcycle, studying the Bible, he loved music, and had various other hobbies he enjoyed during his spare time. Visiting hours will be held between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Bartlett Funeral Home located at 338 Court St. Plymouth, MA. There will be a short memorial service at 12:45 pm. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery on Summer St. in Plymouth. A reception will follow in which all are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael Miranda's life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Salvation Army.
