Michael C. Patrolia, a beloved resident of Cohasset, MA, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024. Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Born and raised in Cohasset, Michael proudly served his country as a Marine before embarking on a distinguished career with the United States Postal Service. After his tenure in the Marines, Michael took up a passion for carpentry with his family. They built service homes together throughout the south shore. For 35 years, he faithfully delivered mail to the community he adored, touching countless lives with his kindness and reliability.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael was a devoted family man. He was the loving father of four sons, including Scott Patrolia of Cohasset, MA, Michael Patrolia of Tuscan, AZ, David Patrolia of Cohasset, MA, and Richard Patrolia of Seminal, FL who brought immense joy and pride to his life. Michael's unwavering support and guidance shaped them into the remarkable individuals.
An avid sports enthusiast, Michael found great joy in the game of baseball. He generously shared his passion by coaching little league, instilling in young players the values of teamwork and sportsmanship.
In his leisure time, Michael could often be found tending to his home, ensuring his perfectly manicured lawn stayed that way or enjoying walks around the town. However, his true passion lay in cheering on his beloved Notre Dame football team. A dedicated fan, he never missed a televised game, faithfully following every play with unwavering enthusiasm.
Michael will be remembered for his kind heart, steadfast loyalty, unmatched work ethic and infectious zest for life. He leaves behind a treasure trove of memories that will be cherished by his family and friends for years to come.
A celebration of Michael's life will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery on Friday, May 17th at 2:00 pm.
All who knew and loved him are invited to attend and share in the memories of a remarkable man who touched so many lives.
Michael's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
