Millie Crossley Coyle Crosby Biggs passed away on January 7 in Carver, MA with her daughter Leslie by her side. She was born on October 18, 1925 in Acushnet, MA to Arthur and Bernice (Bean) Crossley, the middle daughter of 3.

Millie was one of a kind! All were welcome in her home as she often took on the role of being second mother to many of our friends while we were growing up. She was the mother and grandmother who delighted in family, especially her grand and great grand kids. She loved life….and embraced change. The Gardens of Beacon Square in Florida, where she made her home for many years, brought her joy, family, and lifelong friendships. She often said that community was the reason for her longevity.

Besides her daughter Leslie Tustin, she leaves daughter Suzanne Cyr (Guy), and 'adopted' daughters Susan Schuler, Stephanie Schuler, and Gina Michels. A son Kevin Coyle predeceased her. Also, grandchildren Liz Phelps (Peter), Sarah Henry (Joe), Adam Tustin (Melody), Robynn Griffith (Wes); 6 great grandchildren; nieces Debbie Barrett, Gwen Plourde (Paul), Maureen McKenna, Gail Zanchi, Kim Zanchi and Heidi Piazza; and nephews Kent Puckett, Wayne Zanchi (Joanna) and Stephen Leonard (Brenda). A granddaughter Kimberly Thoman (Scott) passed in August of 2019, and her son-in-law (and best buddy) Ernie Giangrande passed in November of 2023.

A funeral honoring Millie will be held on Monday, January 27, 9:00 am at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 392 Hanover Street in Hanover, MA followed by a gathering of friends and family.

Special thanks to Cranberry Hospice, whose loving nurses and aides were here for Millie every day to care for her. We couldn't have provided the wonderful care that Millie needed without their skill, kindness and love. And much love and appreciation to Beatrice, April, and Ronny, who have become like family to us in such a short period of time.
