Cateon, Mildred, 80, of Fall River, MA passed away Wed, Sept. 5 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the daughter of the late Georgianna Gibbons. Mildred was President and secretary of South End council of C.F.C. She was a board member of tenant groups and fought for grants for housing for low income people and community service officers. She is survived by her children Bev Graves (husband Phil) of Westport, Bob Cateon (wife Kathy) of Swansea, Mike Cateon (wife Donna) of Westport, Pat Sulyma (husband Marc) of Fall River, Sue Bolduc (husband Paul) of Tiverton. She is also survived by her sister MaryAnn Mehlhorn (husband Pete) of Virginia. She leaves 15 grandchildren,several great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Fred and John Cateon and sister of the late Sonny and Louie Gibbons. Per her request a private cremation will take place. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Staff of Catholic Memorial Home and Hospice.
