Obituary

Molly Anne Sawiski of Plymouth, MA, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, partner, niece, cousin, friend, and nurse whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her.

Molly was born March 13, 1989 to Paul and Peggy Sawiski. Molly grew up in Plymouth, attending Plymouth Public Schools and graduated from Plymouth South High School in 2007. After high school, she pursued her passion for beauty at Blaine Beauty School in Hyannis, working as a hairdresser for several years before following her calling to nursing. While attending nursing school, Molly worked at several restaurants in the Plymouth area. In 2020, she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree from Upper Cape Technical School and went on to work at various nursing facilities. She loved being a nurse and had a remarkable ability to make people feel comfortable and cared for in their most vulnerable moments.

In 2018, Molly met the love of her life, Connor Gillen. Together, they created countless cherished memories—jet skiing, taking trips to Salem, and date nights at local restaurants. She easily fit into Connor's family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Molly found joy in life's little pleasures, from her love of animals, King Richard's Fair, and dressing up for Halloween to her enthusiasm for hair and makeup, online shopping, psychic readings, and the musical Hamilton. She had a sharp mind for trivia games, an appreciation for new pens, and a deep love for her beloved cat, Charlie, and Connor's dog, Bauer. Molly loved trips to the beach, sunflowers, and listening to her favorite music. She also had a passion for arts and crafts, always creating something special for the people she loved.

Molly had a witty sense of humor and always knew how to make you laugh, no matter the situation. Her quick wit and laughter could lighten any room. She had a generous heart and wanted everyone to feel special. She would often leave surprise gifts for the people she cared about to let them know she was thinking of them. Her sweet nature was comforting to anyone around her. She gave the best hugs—warm, genuine, and full of love, the kind that made everything feel okay.

Molly and her niece, Elle, shared a special connection and treasured their time together. They had fun making arts and crafts, enjoyed the adventure of bathing Charlie dog together, and bonded over their shared love for cats.

Molly is survived by her loving parents, Paul and Peggy Sawiski of Plymouth; her longtime boyfriend Connor Gillen of Halifax; her brother Peter of Plymouth; her brother Greg and his wife Angela of Bridgewater; and her adored nieces Elle, Morgan, and Catelin. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends she loved like family. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Jack and Millie Connelly, and Paul and Mary Sawiski.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, February 13 from 4-6pm at the Bartlett Funeral Home in Plymouth at 338 Court Street. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 14 at St. Peter's Church, 86 Court Street in Plymouth at 10:30 AM.

Donations can be made in Molly's memory to The Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or to the Standish Humane Society, P.O. Box 634, Duxbury, MA 02331.
