Hanigan, Nancy, 74, of Lakeville, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2017. Born and raised in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Helen (Hanigan) and Delbert Glass. She later moved to Braintree to raise her three children, then eventually settled in Lakeville. Nancy worked for many years creating a rewarding career in the secretarial field, the Personnel Department Assistant for the Town of Braintree for many years, she worked for several construction firms throughout the South Shore. She also tried her hand at owning her own business, a toy store, for several years. But the most rewarding opportunity, the one which she was the proudest, was being a devoted aide, to the clients of Braintree Rehab; assisting the clients down to the church services being held at the hospital and helping out any way she could. Nancy will be missed. Nancy leaves behind her children, Jeff Ludy of Lakeville, MA, Melissa Dickenson of Ware, NH and Amanda Connors of Nashua, NH. She leaves behind 2 grandchildren; Kyle and Kelly and 1 great grandchild; Luna. Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 4-7 pm. Interment will be held at a later date.
