It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nancy Ruggeri share the news of her passing on May 26, 2025 after a prolonged illness.

After spending her early years in Maine, Nancy moved down to Quincy, MA, where she met the love of her life, her husband of 60 years, Richard, and side by side they built several homes, eventually settling in Bourne, MA.

Nancy had many jobs throughout her life, including working with Richard in their automotive business. But the job she loved the most was being an amazing Granny to her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and collector of salt and pepper shakers. She enjoyed cooking and drinking hot tea, going on boating adventures with her family and friends, taking care of her beloved dogs, and eating things she shouldn't.

She is survived by her husband, Richard, children Teresa Lally, Maryellen Hunter, and Janet Cabrera, son- in-laws Scott Lally and Jorge Cabrera, grandchildren Diane Murphy and her husband Matt, Hannah, Bella and Alex Cabrera, and great granddaughter Rowan. Her grandson, Michael Lally, pre-deceased her and was there to meet her, along with many wonderful and dear friends lost throughout the years.

She loved fiercely, fought bravely, and lived life on her own terms and in her own way.

A visitation will be held at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth,MA on Sunday, June 1st from 1 to 3:30, with a service immediately following.

As Nancy was an avid animal lover, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her honor to Sunny Paws Rescue, 36 Faith's Way, E. Falmouth, MA 02536
