Obituary

Nanette Louise Littlejohn, 46, of Quincy, Massachusetts, Bridgewater, Massachusetts and Bangor, Maine, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Saturday, December 1, 2012 in her Quincy, Massachusetts home. Born on March 20, 1966 in Bangor, Maine, she was the youngest child of the late Micheline and Wilbert Littlejohn. Nanette was a dearly devoted mother who adored her three children, Micheline, Jesus and Joshua, all of Quincy, Massachusetts. She was also dedicated to the food industry, where she held many positions; including restaurant manager, executive chef, pastry chef and caterer. She attended Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute in Providence, Rhode Island and served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. In her younger days, she developed her love of children at Penquis CAP in Bangor, Maine. Her love of nature, most especially the ocean, shined through her spiritual aura. As her son Joshua reminisced: "Her smile could brighten the earth, her laughter could be heard miles away and her heart could warm anyone's soul, even on a snow filled morning." In addition to her children, Nanette is survived by her three siblings, Francine of Bridgewater, Pierre and Andree of Bangor and her companion, Robert Perry of Quincy. She also leaves behind eight nephews and nieces: Justin, Carl, Jonathan, Derek, Jacob, Jake, Emelia and Michelina. Father Adrian Milik gathered the family together and celebrated a private service at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater.
