Nicky R. Baresi died peacefully at home on Aug. 14, 2011, in Plymouth, Mass. He had been a Little Falls, N.J. resident for 50 years and a New Jersey resident for most of his life. He was 93. Nicky Baresi was a graduate of Montclair High School and served in the Civilian Conservation Corps in Nevada and New Jersey. He was a member of the American Federation of Musicians Locals 248 and 16, F&AM lodges of Little Falls and Lyndhurst, N.J., and the Valley of Northern N.J. Scottish Rite. He was a retiree of Walter Kidde Co. in Belleville, N.J., and Ricoh in Fairfield, N.J. His passion was music and playing his guitar and banjo, which he did for 78 years. He had countless friends and is remembered for his endless supply of jokes and ability to entertain people wherever he was. Nick was predeceased by his loving wife, Elynor Paige (in 1994); his son, Vincent Bilotta, and five of his siblings. He is survived by his son, Larry Bilotta of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Elynor Kindy, and her husband, David, of Plymouth, Mass.; two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his brother, Andrew Barresse of Florida.
