Peter J. Courville, 39, passed away February 16, 2012 after a long illness. He is survived by his loving son, Peter, Jr., his mother Patricia Rheume and Harry Rheume of Spencer, and a brother. He was predeceased by his other brother, David Courville, in 2005. He was born and raised in Spencer by his mother. He graduated from David Prouty High School and went on to attend Hesser College. He worked in landscaping and as a laborer for years. His hobbies included sports, fishing and most of all spending time with his son. Everyone who knew him said he was just a real "genuine guy". A memorial gathering will be held in honor of Peter from 1-4 p.m. on March 18th at Spencer Fish and Game. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made at the gathering in honor of Peter for his son.
