With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Phillip Arnold Ferazzi, affectionately known as Flip, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the age of 87. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.
Phillip's journey began in Plymouth, MA in 1938, and he graduated from Weymouth High School in 1957, specializing in automobile mechanics. His years of dedicated service to the Army National Guard, from 1955 until his retirement as a Staff Sergeant in 1998, reflected his unwavering commitment to duty. As a mechanic at Otis Air Force Base, Flip's skill and passion shone through in all he did.
A man of unwavering dedication, Flip found deep enjoyment in home projects, the beauty of Long Beach in Plymouth during summers, family ski adventures, get-away vacations with dear friends, and his love for golf. A long-time member of the Seaside Club in Plymouth, MA, Flip's presence brought joy to all who knew him. Upon retiring from the National Guard, he and Ann, alongside close friends, embraced the warmth of Florida winters, returning to Massachusetts to spend the warmer months working at Pocasset Golf Club.
Married since 1961 he leaves behind his beloved wife Ann, his son Peter and his husband Dean Orlosky of San Francisco CA, his daughter Liza Zona and her husband Michael of Bradenton FL, along with four cherished grandchildren: Jack who recently married Alyssa, Derek who is on a deployment with the Air Force, and twins Amy and Sara, sophomores at Auburn University and Florida State University.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held at Bartlett Funeral Home on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral mass will be at St. Mary's Church, 313 Court Street, North Plymouth, on Tuesday, March 3, at 10 AM. Phillip will find his final resting place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
The family extends their deepest gratitude for the overwhelming love and support from friends and family during this difficult time, as well as the compassionate care provided by the medical teams at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, MA. Phillip's absence will be deeply felt, but his memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who were touched by his kindness.
