Raymond (Ray) Capone, age 68, died on July 21, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family in Plymouth, MA after a courageous year long battle with cancer.

Ray was born in Walpole, MA where he resided for most of his life until his retirement. He worked for Verizon as a service technician (IBEW Local 2325) for most of his career.

Ray and his wife, Noreen (Maleiko) Capone, moved to Plymouth to enjoy their retirement together. He passed on the day of their 46th wedding anniversary. Ray adored his wife and best friend, Noreen, with all of his heart.

He is survived by his wife Noreen, three children, Garrett and wife Karen Capone of Maryland, Julieanne Capone of Nevada, Elizabeth and husband Rob Gagnon of Plymouth.

He is also survived by his five granddaughters, Kyra (15) and Caitlyn (13) Capone of Maryland and Teagan (10), Madison (8), and Mila (5) Gagnon of Plymouth.

Ray's family was his joy and focus in life. He never missed a chance to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Whether it be creating memories in Point Sebago and Cape Cod or coaching softball teams over the years, Ray never missed an opportunity to participate in his family's activities and take pride in their accomplishments.

Ray was a quiet, gentle man with an endearing nature who cherished his extended family and friends. He never met someone he didn't like and was always eager to lend a helping hand.

Ray will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
