Payne, Raymond J. of Canton passed away on July 22, 2019, after an accident that contributed to a decline in health. Raymond was born 4/26/35 and raised in Mission Hill. He worked as a roofer; loved the Sox, the Pats and Nantasket Beach; and enjoyed many good times over the years with the wonderful people in his life. Raymond, husband, and best friend to the most beautiful woman in his world for 50+ years, the late Lorraine (Phillips); fun and loving dad of Julie Payne Murphy and her husband Jim of Canton and Allison Payne Michalski and her husband Mark of Plymouth; biggest fan of grandson David Murphy and David's fiance, Megan Nee. Brother to Robert, David, Paul, Arlene, Geraldine, Carol, Sandra, Linda, Deborah, and the late Leslie, Tommy and Joan; Brother-in-law to Margie, Lenny and the late Ann Phillips. Also survived by many dear family members and very special friends, including Sonny Paige, the late Carolyn Barboza, and late little pal, Freddie. Raymond will be privately honored in a celebration of life gathering.
