Raymond D Smith, of Falmouth, MA, age 82, passed away on August 19, 2024 in Sandwich, MA, after a battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Edward and Anna (Kingma) Smith.

Ray was the husband of Maryann (Hughes) Smith, father of Deborah Smith of Taunton, Donna Pareiges of Taunton, Thomas Smith of Assonet. He was the grandfather of Evan Smith of Attleboro, Matt Smith of Taunton, Olivia Pareiges of Taunton, Abigail Pareiges of Taunton, Thomas Smith of Assonet, and Annie Smith of Assonet. He leaves behind his brother Kenneth Smith of San Diego. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as friends.

Ray was an electric pipe fitter. He was a member of many organizations throughout the years.

Ray loved his family and his grandchildren. He enjoyed restoring cars, pyrotechnics, fishing, and hunting,

There will be a celebration of life to honor Ray, to be held at a later date.
