Regina Gawronski Cahill, of West Tisbury, Massachusetts and formerly of Lancaster, NY, passed away on July 12, 2016, after a brief illness. She was born in Buffalo, NY to Elizabeth (Dudek) and Walter Gawronski on August 31, 1927. She has now gone to live with her God,and to join the choir of her predeceased siblings: Angela, Edmund, Emily, RoseMarie, and her late husband, Lawrence John Cahill. She is survived by her bereft daughters Paula Cahill (Marshall Clinton) and Susan Cahill (Matthew Wortmann), her grandchildren: Connal, Elias, and Opal,her beloved sister Loretta Malicki, many dear friends including Kathy Avery, Karen Sagen, Dorothy Machaczka, Helen Harcola, and many nieces, nephews, and God-children. A funeral mass will be held for her at11:00am on August 27th atOur Lady of Pompeii RC Church in Lancaster, NY,with a luncheon to follow at the Roycroft Inn in East Aurora, NY.
