Richard Kaiser (August 1, 1943 – August 6, 2026)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Kaiser who passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on August 6, at the age of 83.

Richard was a lifelong Plymouth resident. He was a longtime mason, who in his retirement years was a seasonal assistant harbor master at the Leo F. DeMarsh boat ramp in Plymouth where he loved providing boaters with a helping hand.

Family always came first with Richard. He enjoyed spending time on his boat fishing with his family and friends. He also enjoyed gardening in his beautiful backyard, especially taking care of his rose bushes. Richard loved yard saleing with Diane, always made a point to get the best price, and was always proud of a great deal. Richard and Diane also enjoyed travelling to Florida and the Caribbean. He was a member of the Cold Spring Athletic Club for 52 years.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Diane (Morgardo) Kaiser, who he started dating at the age of 14, daughter Jill Almeida and her partner Tony Ferreira, son Richard Kaiser, Jr. and his wife Stephanie Kaiser, adoring grandson Jesse Almeida, sister Barabara Gordon of Englewood, FL, and brother Gene Kaiser of Plymouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Richard was predeceased by his parents James and Anna (Furtado) Kaiser, and brothers Daniel Kaiser and James Kaiser, Jr.

Burial and celebration of life will be private. The family would like to thank Croi Heath Hospice of Norwell, for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Croi Health Hospice and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
