Richard "Ricky" R. Killam
August 15, 1950-November 25, 2024
Richard Killam passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2024 at his home in Plymouth where he was a resident for more than 30 years.
Ricky was born in Boston, MA. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1969-1973 as a Dental Technician and continued this work as his career for more than 20 years. Ricky had extensive personal interests; such as scuba diving, hunting, fishing (particularly on the Cape Cod Canal), riding motorcycles, cooking and driving his hot rod, a 1936 Chevy Coupe. Ricky was someone who was always happy to pass his knowledge and share his enjoyment of his hobbies with others.
Appropriately this was one of his final wishes, as he said, "I want to be remembered as someone who truly cared about my fellow man as well as the planet we live on"
Ricky was predeceased by his father, Richard Killam of Brockton, his step father, Thomas Beswick of Providence, his brother, Wayne Killam, Sr. of Plymouth, and his mother, Patricia Beswick of Bourne. He is survived by his daughter Alysia Killam, her partner Cliff and their 3 daughters;; Milyana, Malyna, and Mya of Brockton. He is also survived by his niece, Nicole Killam, and her son Colin of Plymouth, nephew Wayne Killam, Jr., great-nephew Chris Killam and his wife Danielle, of PA, great nephews Wayne Killam III, Kyle Killam and great niece Katelynn all of Plymouth. His aunt Winnie and uncle Frank of Duxbury and many cousins and friends.
