Robert T Tolmie December 17, 1952- April 21, 2021 Robert Timothy Tolmie, 68, of Plymouth and formerly of Rockland passed away on April 21 after a lengthy illness. Bob was the son of the late John S Tolmie and Mary A (O'Connell) Tolmie of Rockland. Bob followed in his father's footsteps and spent many years in the Sheet Metal industry. Even up to the time of his passing he was still working on new designs. Perhaps one of his greatest achievements and a source of tremendous pride was that he was a starting forward on Rockland's 1972 State Championship basketball team and was affectionately known as "Jammer". He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Tolmie and his granddaughter Bridgette Fernando. He is also survived by his siblings John (Linda) of Honolulu, HI, Joe (Linda) of Hilton Head, SC, Rick (Miriam) of Plymouth, MA and Margaret Crane (George) of Rockland, MA as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bartlett Funeral Home Plymouth, MA and memorial service is being planned for a future date when friends and family can honor his memory safely.
