Roberta Francis April (Lee) was born in Virginia on September 14, 1948. She was raised in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School. Robbie passed away on May 6, 2020 in Buzzards Bay from her heartbreaking battle with the Corona virus. She is survived by her former husband and friend James E. April of Weymouth and their 2 children Nicole R. April of West Wareham and Brian J. April of Maine, as well as her granddaughter Brianna M. Whitney of West Wareham. She was very much loved by her congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses in Middleborough in her younger years then West Falmouth as she got older. Due to the current circumstances, we will be having a memorial on the Zoom platform through her current congregation of West Wareham. When we have a date, we will post it. Robbie's favorite activities include laughing, eating mushroom pizza and pistachio ice cream, knitting, playing cards, gardening, and spoiling her granddaughter. She was a blessing as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. "I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh, but I never knew looking back on the laughs would make me cry."
