Roderick Perry, Sr., 78, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 15 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. He was born in Brockton, the son of the late Jean (VanAmringe) and Harry S. Perry.
Rod grew up in Whitman. He worked for many years as a sheet metal machinist
He loved horses in his early years, fishing was also a passion, where he could relax and enjoy himself with his children.
You would always see Rod walking his dog, Jetta down the waterfront.
Rod is survived by his children; Roderick L. Perry, Jr., Brian C. Perry, Russell B. Perry and Lori-Jean (Perry) Vining and Karl S. Perry. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Kathy MacDonald. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey L. Perry. He will be greatly missed by many dear family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 28th from 1 – 3 pm. Interment will be private.
