Obituary

Ronald (Ronnie) Edward Loranger passed peacefully in Plymouth, Massachusetts surrounded by his family in the late evening hours of March 24, 2025. Ronnie was 81 years old.

Ronnie was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on January 27, 1944. He was the beloved son of Albert and Marion (Pushee) Loranger.

Ronnie was an avid sports fan and looked forward to watching baseball, hockey, and football games on his recliner. He loved Hallmark Christmas movies, sipping his coffee, and was passionate about his cars. But most importantly, he loved to spend time with his family. His two sons and five grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he loved watching them grow up. Ronnie also held the title of "Big Nonno" to his two great grandsons who he looked forward to seeing every Sunday for family dinner.

He was the type of man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. Ronnie was happiest surrounded by family with a home cooked meal on the table. A devoted husband, son, uncle, Nonno, and big Nonno, he filled every role with love, kindness, and dedication.

Ronnie is preceded in death by the love of his life, Ivana (Eve) Loranger. He has been waiting to be reunited with her for 18 years. He is survived by his two sons, Ronald Loranger Jr. and his wife Lisa of Plymouth, MA, Marc Loranger and his wife Evon of Plymouth, MA. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Danielle Loranger and Vincent Loranger of Plymouth, MA, Theresa Vigneau and her husband Chris of Carver, MA, Caroline Loranger and Anthony Loranger of Plymouth, MA, as well as two great grandchildren, Luca and Enzo Vigneau of Carver, MA. Ronnie was the oldest of seven siblings. He leaves behind Rosemary Indio, George Loranger, Virginia White, Joan Caron, Susan Lane and Stephen Loranger. His gentle and warm presence will be greatly missed.
