IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roscoe Andrews
Cole
February 19, 1948 – March 19, 2025
Roscoe Andrews "Drew" Cole, 77, from Manomet, Massachusetts passed away Wednesday, March 19th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 19th, 1948 in Beverly, Massachusetts, Drew was the son of Roscoe Cole Jr. and Priscilla (Moran) Cole. He graduated from Silver Lake High School and later, Bridgewater State College. He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War.
Drew worked for Kent's Carpetland and for Jordan's Furniture, and his retirement job was for Furniture Consignment Gallery.
Drew is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Heather Monahan-Cole, his son Joshua Cole and his wife Jenna of Texas, and Sarah Cole Randall and her husband Jay of Plympton, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his step-daughter Hillary Monahan and her husband David, and his step-mother Janet Cole. He leaves behind his four beloved grandchildren Liam and Ella Cole, and Jackson and Izi Randall.
Drew was an avid softball player, having played and coached for the EMass Senior Softball League and the Scituate SSSL for over twenty years. He was fan of all Boston sports teams, loved traveling with his wife, and had a fine ear for music. Drew loved his hound dogs, working in the yard, and sipping a glass of fine bourbon. Most of all, Drew was a true gentleman. He enjoyed scores of friends— it was well known by all who met him that "everyone loves Drew".
Drew will have his ashes scattered off the coast of Manomet. In lieu of flowers, please send a contribution to the Wounded Warriors Project, or the Veterans charity of your choice.
