Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Schwenk

March 3, 1953 – June 5, 2026

Rudy Schwenk of South Dennis passed peacefully at Cape Cod Hospital surrounded by his family on June 5. He was 73 years old.

Born to Rudy and Kay Schwenk in Marlborough, Massachusetts where he grew up, Rudy moved to California where he met his wife Sandy. The family of five moved to Cape Cod in 1992 where Sandy and Rudy raised their three children. Despite countless hours on the road driving cross-country, Rudy was always in attendance for the kids sports, dance recitals, graduations and never missed a holiday.

Rudy was a good and hardworking man who loved his family who meant everything to him. Rudy was a loving father to Barry (and Suzanne) Schwenk, Jessica (and Clinton) Gwinn and Amanda (and John Rockett) Schwenk. Along with his wife, he is survived by his sister Elaine Starks. He was the adoring Papa to seven grandchildren Jedaya, Barry, Sebastian, Cody, Jakobe, Olivia and Hadley. Rudy will be forever missed greatly by his family and faithful companion Tucker.
